Hi, I’m Caitlin—the heart behind Blissfully Traveling. 

I’m originally from New York and now based in Delaware, but my love for travel truly began on the other side of the world.

My first big adventure was a working holiday trip to New Zealand. I thought I’d be gone less than a year, but that “short trip” turned into nearly two years. When I first arrived, I joined a group of twelve complete strangers. We spent two weeks traveling together, and by the end, we were so close that we got matching tattoos—and two of them even got married! That experience showed me the magic of group travel: how quickly shared adventures can create lifelong friendships and unforgettable stories.

When I returned home, I knew I wanted to build a life around that feeling. I believe travel is vital to growth, connection, and perspective—and I wanted to make it easier and more accessible for others to experience. 

That’s how Blissfully Traveling was born.

Here, my focus is on crafting affordable bucket-list trips designed to bring people together. Whether you’re joining a group trip as a solo traveler or selecting a curated itinerary for your own crew, my goal is always the same: to create meaningful journeys that inspire, recharge, and connect.

I’m also deeply committed to traveling responsibly. Every itinerary I design keeps local communities, culture, and sustainability at its core—because the best kind of travel is about giving back as much as it gives us.
